005 – The slightly sulky one

This one is when I first embarked on the voyage of using horizontal lines for shading and backgrounds and stuff. I think it looks well neat and designery.

Whilst the background lines are great, the breasts are a bit badly drawn. I can’t say whether they were like that in the original photo, now lost to the wilderness of the internet, but in the drawing one’s both larger and a different shape and everything to the other.

I figured the girl was sulking cos she had her hands on her hips, that’s all.

004 – The one celebrating

I’m not sure when I originally posted this one I thought she was celebrating, maybe the rest of the picture made it clear or just that she’s raised her arms in the air. Who knows.

I really liked those irregular frames to the pictures back when I was starting out drawing these.

Also I didn’t quite grasp that it was art, so I never signed any of the pictures, and now if I do, I worry that its changing the original published piece, detracting from what once made it so special.

002 – The curvy body in her underwear

I always have a specific person in mind when I see this drawing

It very much reminds me of a girl I was seeing back in 2007, althought the picture if of some anonymous nuddy chick off of the internet. Again, no link, no idea who the original model was.

I like the curvy bellybutton, but I’m less pleased with the way the frilly knicker elastic came out.

001 – The naked young lady holding her knees

This was one of the first ones I drew, in the summer of 2007. Notice the irregular framing of the picture, and the black lines drawn over several times.

I like the cartoony smile, but on reflection, the head is a bit wonky, or it could be her left shoulder is wrong.

I’m not sure where I drew this from, on the original site, it wasn’t until later on that I started putting text and links to the source material. I never even knew her name.
